YES — It's as simple as it sounds!
We know the information on our site is valuable, but we thought we'd get (and keep) your attention if we gave away cash prizes on a regular basis. And best of all, there is no purchase necessary to play or win! As our sponsors purchase more advertisements, we reveal the corresponding pieces to our hidden puzzle. The larger the ads, the larger the visible clues. The faster the Sponsor Grid fills up with advertising, the faster our trivia puzzle will be revealed.

The first qualified entry to submit a correct answer will receive a cash prize up to $1,000. What's even better is we'll match that payout to an area nonprofit of the winners choice bringing our total payout for each puzzle to as much as $2,000. Since it is possible for our puzzle to be solved before all ad blocks are sold, we can't know for sure the exact timing or dollar value of the final prize.

Local Nonprofits Win Too!
There are many worthy organizations serving the Greater Mystic community. They can range from the arts and education, history and genealogy, sports, museums or other categories. We want to recognize the importance these organizations play in serving the local community, so we've built our plans around their ongoing participation. Each time we award a cash prize to an individual, we will ask them to select a nonprofit organization from those registered on our site and we'll make a matching payment to that organization.

This is a game of smarts, not a game of chance. The better you are at solving puzzles, the better qualified you are to win our grand prize! If you belong to one or more organizations, consider sharing news of our site with your fellow members.



To submit an entry, all contestants must be registered users of this site. We encourage all members of the local community to register and share news of this site with others. Our goal is to have one grand prize challenge each quarter year, but to run smaller cash-based contests each month. All our payouts will include a split component — half going to the individual solving our puzzle, the other half going to a qualified nonprofit.

Registration is completely free and we will not sell, trade or otherwise disclose your personal contact information with anyone.
